This is a tabling volunteer opportunity. We will be at a table at the Women's Expo. We will be answering questions and giving out giveaway items.
Dates and Times:
Friday, February 6: 12pm – 8pm (exhibitors may enter at 10am)
Saturday, February 7: 10am - 6pm (exhibitors may enter at 9am)
Sunday, February 8: 10am – 4pm (exhibitors may enter at 10am)
There will be 2-hour shifts. You will not be asked to help with set up.
NOTE: The 2:00pm shift on Sunday, March 8th will include one hour of tabling and up to one hour of support with tear down. I don't expect it to take a full hour. Heavy lifting is not required.
Parking: You should expect to park in the North Grand Ramp (219 N Grand Ave, Lansing, MI 48933). There is a skybridge directly to the Lansing Center from the second floor of this ramp.
Navigation Inside the Lansing Center: We are still verifying information for the exact location in the Lansing Center. If you sign up to volunteer, I will contact you directly with these details.
Food: There are food vendors at the event and places nearby (walking distance) that sell food.
Accessibility: This is at the Lansing Center, so there may be a lot of walking to get to the venue space from parking. It will be wheelchair accessible. You will be able to sit while volunteering at the table. You will not be asked to do any heavy lifting. This is a loud event with a lot of people.
Weather Contingency Planning: In the case of cancellation due to inclement weather, we will contact you directly by phone or email. If you are unsure of the weather, please reach out directly to Dani Reisbig to verify before traveling.
