Volunteer: 517 Hispanic Heritage Weekend: A Taste of Hispanic Heritage Festival in Downtown LansingWe will be hosting an information table at the 517 Hispanic Heritage Weekend! We are also sponsors for the weekend this year, so we want to make sure we have a big, fun presence at the festival. What will you be asked to do? You will be asked to answer questions about organ, eye and tissue donation. There will be updated facts and information available for your review available. You will also be handing out giveaway items. Accessibility This is an outdoor event. I will have a canopy tent, but expect to dress for very warm weather or potential light rain. There are nearby businesses where you can cool down if needed. The festival is on the street so expect to need to walk at least one block to the festival to join us. Parking is in public garages nearby. This is a popular event, so many of the nearest garages could fill quickly. The noise levels will be moderate. There is fun music and dancing throughout the day, but these are centralized to the stage. You can wear any pants, shorts, or skirt that you prefer as long as they're clean and appropriate.
